Women’s High Tea

On the 7^th of October 2023 we hosted our annual high tea at Louisville Guest lodge Midrand Hosted by the Managing Director and Founder of Portia M Skin Solutions Mrs Portia Mngomezulu, the venue was gorgeous and full of light, good food and elegantly beautiful people, the sun was out and it embraced us gracefully.

The event kicked off at 10am the guests arrived wearing our favourite colours being white, pink and gold, our guests looked like Barbie’s they were all best dressed.  As the guests walked in, they were welcomed with champagne and starters as they headed over to their seats. The Emcee for the day was the beautiful, glorious and elegant Ms Lerato Kganyago, her presence was felt, appreciated and loved.

The day was graced with our Influencers, the Portia M Staff as well as guest speakers. The guest speakers being Nompumelelo Madubedu who is the owner and founder of the San Hair, Tshego Manche from the Mommy Club, Ntombenhle Khathwane Founder and owner of Afro- Botanics. We also received the presence of our distributors Clicks, Ackermans, Dischem, Cosmetics Connections, Spar, Beauty Zone and Retailability.

This year’s High Tea was focused on Women Empowerment, guests who attended the high tea were given the opportunity to present a startup business to the judges, the judges being the guest speakers. Three guests were chosen to win the competition, The third prize was R5000, the second prize was R10 000 and the First Prize was R15 000.  Our guest winners were Keneilwe Goeieman, Nelile Lukhele and Rethabile Ncube. 

The day ended on a high note with a Live Performance from the Qwabe Twins. There was dancing  and singing, a day filled with women who came together to celebrate each other.
